Soshyal (“we”) helps people find live chat rooms and complementary intents nearby, in their language. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account data: email, username, display name, city, optional DOB
- Profile content: bio, interests, intents, posts, chat messages
- Device data for push notifications (Expo push token) when enabled
- Basic technical logs needed to keep the service secure
How we use data
- To operate matching, chat, posts, and notifications
- To moderate abuse (reports, blocks) and keep the community safe
- To improve reliability, not to sell personal data
Sharing
We use processors such as Supabase (database/auth) and email delivery for OTP. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Edit or delete content you post
- Block or report other users
- Delete your account in Settings (hides your profile; contact us for full erasure)
