In short
Every central government pensioner must submit an Annual Life Certificate in November to the pension disbursing agency (usually the bank) so pension continues. Pensioners aged 80 and above may submit from 1 October. If it is not submitted by the end of November, pension for December onwards may stop until the certificate is updated (UIDAI Digital Life Certificate FAQ). You can submit digitally (Jeevan Pramaan / face authentication), via India Post Payments Bank doorstep service (₹70 per successful DLC), via public-sector bank doorstep banking (₹75), at a CSC, or in person at the bank or post office (UIDAI FAQ; IPPB DLC page).

Watch out for scams
Only use official apps and numbers above. Nobody from a "pension office" should ask you for an OTP, Aadhaar share code, or money beyond the published doorstep fees. For suspicious calls that show a name on your phone after 1 Nov, see Caller name display (CNAP) — that is a separate DoT change, not a pension service.
