How the Soshyal El Niño rooms work: learn, share, help, reuse

In short. Soshyal has five official El Niño rooms. They are always open, and they close only when the Soshyal team chooses.

The five rooms

  • Hyderabad Water Watch, soshyal.com/r/7aftflsax9
  • Heat Safety India, soshyal.com/r/dyr0ubi9gt

How it works: learn, share, help, reuse 1. Learn from the posters and blog. The facts are checked by the Soshyal team, and every poster carries its source and date. 2. Share the room link. Each room has a Share button, and the link works on WhatsApp. 3. Help. Ask for help or offer it in the room. 4. Reuse. The same rooms and facts are there for the next flood or heatwave.

Joining. Anyone can open a room link to preview it. Signing in with an email code lets you join and talk.

Who hosts. The official rooms are co-hosted by @soshyal.care and @soshyal.team. They carry a "Soshyal team" label and are the team's official accounts, not individual people.

Your own rooms. Normal user rooms are different: they have an end time, and their host can end them early.
