Law-enforcement requests
Soshyal reviews lawful requests for user data. We disclose information only when legally required and appropriately scoped.
How to submit
- Email legal@soshyal.com from an official agency address.
- Include the legal authority, case reference, specific user identifiers (username, email, or profile id), and the exact data sought with date ranges.
- Attach the warrant, order, or other process as a PDF.
Emergency disclosure
If there is an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, mark the subject line Emergency and include facts supporting the emergency. Emergency handling is subject to legal review.
What we may have
Account profile fields, room membership metadata, message content (if not yet purged), reports, and moderation audit logs. Ephemeral rooms and disappearing messages may already be deleted.
