Community Guidelines

Soshyal is for live chat rooms around shared intents, work, learning, sports, food, and hanging out online. Be kind. Be useful. Meeting in person is your choice, not something the app arranges.

Not allowed

• Harassment, bullying, threats
• Spam, phishing, or financial scams
• Sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance)
• Hate speech or violent extremism
• Impersonation or fake profiles
• Posting phone numbers or abuse in public rooms

How to report

1. Open the chat or profile
2. Tap Report and choose a reason
3. Optionally Block the person

Our team reviews reports. Accounts with repeated open reports may be auto-hidden pending review. Violations can lead to content removal, limits, shadowban, or ban.

Filters & limits

Pending message requests are limited; declined chats stay out of your inbox. Blocks hide conversations both ways. New accounts have lower daily caps for joining rooms and starting DMs.
